The frame on this Streetfighter weighs about four kilograms. It's one aluminium casting, the monocoque. Instead of wrapping a heavy frame around the engine, Ducati bolts the frame to the engine and lets the engine carry the structural load. Same architecture as the Panigale V2 superbike.
